Circle Cinema hosting the theatrical debut of TULSA TERRORS

If horror movies are your thing, you might be interested in a new documentary I co-produced with Bryan Crain for RSU TV — just in time for Halloween. It’s called TULSA TERRORS, and it’s all about the made-for-home-video explosion and how that fuse was lit in T-Town. Bryan, who did that great doc about the punk and thrash scene in Tulsa called OIL CAPITAL UNDERGROUND, directed and edited. I wrote it and did the interviewing. I was so pleased and happy to see that Bryan knew exactly what I was going for: the sense of self-effacing fun that these filmmakers had, and the heart that showed through even the lowest budgets.

On Saturday, October 14, at 7:30 p.m.,  Circle Cinema is hosting the theatrical debut of TULSA TERRORS. This will be the director’s cut, as there’ll probably be a scene or two excised for the television premiere, by RSU TV, on Halloween night.  Ticket info is available from the Circle Cinema website, www.circlecinema.org
