This month in OKLAHOMA Magazine, you can, if you’re so inclined, catch a John Wooley twofer. My regular column tells about my experiences as an over-70 softball player, and the cover story pairs me with writer Henry Dolive (whom I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting) in a multi-part feature on Oklahoma music. I was responsible for the Five Top Musical Moments and other musician profiles in the piece.
With the restaurant and bar situations currently in place, it may be a bit tougher to find the magazine around Tulsa, but it’s out there. Plus, you can always go online to find the full-length electronic version.
A special shout-out to my pals on Butch Webb’s 80-Plus softball roster, without whom I could not have done the current column.
