30 OCTOBER 2021

There’s a definite seasonal vibe to this week’s episode of SWING ON THIS, with Halloween-ish tunes that begin with Bob Wills and end with Tom Morrell and His Time-Warp Tophands doing a nice instrumental named after a famous genus of dinosaur. In between, more somewhat spooky stuff by Spade Cooley, the Brazos Valley Boys, Asleep at the Wheel, Roy Newman and His Boys, and the Tune Wranglers, plus a weird one from our friend Billy Parker.

That and much more — including a 17-year-old soon-to-be superstar with the latest in our “San Antonio Rose” parade — comes your way this Saturday at 7 p.m. on Tulsa’s NPR affiliate, KWGS, 89.5 FM, live-streaming everywhere at publicradiotulsa.org. Turn it up for your trick-or-treaters!
