This Saturday night, western swing once again merges with the Great American Songbook and songs from the Big-Band Era, as SWING ON THIS begins with Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys doing a Gershwin tune and ends with that fine new act Ida Red taking a shot at a Benny Goodman number.  In between, another Goodwin hit gets the Spade Cooley treatment, and a big-band boogie-woogie classic comes your way via Asleep at the Wheel.

In addition to all of that, our glass-lifting tune for the evening is the biggest hit ever recorded by Spike Jones and His City Slickers.

And, sure, there’s lots more. So please tune in to KWGS, 89.5 FM, at 7 p.m. Saturday, or pick us up live-streaming over publicradiotulsa.org. It’s always great to have you along!
