27 February 2021

Regular listeners to SWING ON THIS will be able to tell that it’s a new show this Saturday night, as I apparently forgot pretty much everything about which CDs are in which players during my two weeks away from the studio. This will be painfully obvious when you hear it.

However, as usual, the good music saves the day. Among the attractions this time around are February birthday boy Jesse Ashlock, singing one of his own compositions with Bob Wills and the Playboys; Ole Rasmussen and His Cornhuskers with a vocal take on one of the top hits of the Big Band Era; and Tom Morrell and the Time-Warp Tophands exploring a Jimmy McHugh-Dorothy Fields Tin Pan Alley tune from 1928.

So please join me Saturday at 7 p.m. for an all-new SWING ON THIS β€” featuring the same old lame disc jockey. You can pick it up on KWGS, 89.5 FM, or live-streaming at publicradiotulsa.org
